How AI Is Helping Me Crush My MBA While Running a Business
I’m currently pursuing my MBA and still running Beacon Digital Solutions full-time. AI isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s the only reason I can do both without burning out.

Why This Matters for Small Business Owners
Many of my clients are ambitious operators who want to keep growing their skills while running their company. If I can show you how I’m doing it efficiently with AI, you can apply the same systems to your own professional development or team training.
My Daily AI-Powered MBA Workflow
1. Lecture Summaries & Note Consolidation (Grok + Claude)
I record lectures or upload slides/PDFs. Grok gives me a concise executive summary with key frameworks. Then Claude turns it into Anki-style flashcards and mind maps.
2. Case Study Analysis (Cursor + Grok)
For heavy case studies (Harvard Business Review style), I paste the PDF into Cursor and ask Grok to break it down using specific MBA frameworks (Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT, BCG Matrix, etc.). It saves me 4–6 hours per case.
3. Research & Citations (Perplexity Pro)
Instead of spending hours on Google Scholar, Perplexity gives me up-to-date, cited sources in seconds. I use it for every research paper and group project.
4. Writing & Editing (Claude 4 + Grammarly)
Claude drafts full papers or discussion posts in my voice. I then refine with Grok for strategic depth. Final polish goes through Claude’s “improve clarity and academic tone” prompt.
5. Group Project Coordination (Notion AI + Make.com)
Notion AI auto-generates meeting agendas, action items, and timelines from our Slack/Zoom notes. Make.com keeps everything synced across tools.
Real Time Savings So Far
- Research time cut by ~70%
- Case study analysis: from 8 hours → under 2 hours
- Writing first drafts: 3–4 hours saved per paper
- Total weekly study time reduced while improving quality
