Most budgeting apps require your bank username and password. It goes to an aggregator, and your transactions live on that company’s servers. Thrive never makes that connection.

Rather not type anything? Point Thrive at the mailbox your bank already emails. Optional, off until you switch it on, and local only — your mailbox password never leaves the Apple Keychain on that device.
